Order Processing and Shipping Policy

Order Processing: We are a small family owned business, so please bare with us as we work hard to process orders. Once an order is placed, please allow 2-5 business days for us to process and prepare for shipment. Large volumes of dog treats or large product orders may take longer to process. Orders will not be processed on weekends and holidays. This means your order may take a week or more to arrive to you; however, we will do everything we can to ship your package sooner than that if possible.

Dropshipped items (Third-party fulfilment) order processing: Chief Treats does work with brands that provide third-party order fulfilment. If a product you have ordered is not currently in stock at our main location, we will attempt to have your item dropshipped to you. Some items available in our store are ONLY fulfilled by a third-party. This information is indicated on each specific product page. Additional processing and fulfilment time (anywhere from 3 to 7 days or more) may apply when items are fulfilled by a third party. 

Additonal information about third-party fulfilment: Shipping of other products that are not specifically branded by Chief Treats LLC: Shipping of products that are not produced by or for Chief Treats LLC may ship from another location depending on where the available stock for the item is located. These products may experience delays to service due to weather or other events outside of the local area. Additional shipping fees may apply. 

Shipping of E-collar Technologies products: These products are shipped to the purchaser directly from E-Collar Technologies and may experience delays to service due to weather or other events outside of the local area. 

Soda Pup, Dogtastic, and other brands under Soda Pup: Chief Treats does keep a physical stock of many of the products offered by Soda Pup or one of its affiliates; however, some items may still only be available via third-party fulfilment. These products are shipped to the purchaser directly from Soda Pup and it's affiliates and may experience delays to service due to weather or other events outside of the local area. 

Shipping: We offer a few different shipping methods via USPS. Please be aware that we cannot control delays due to the USPS service, weather, disasters, etc.

Refunds for delays in shipping will not be granted once the product has left our hands. 

Shipping of "heavy" items: Bulk items, liquids, and other products that are more than 0.9lbs individually are all considered "heavy" and therefore are subject to separate shipping charges. When these items are purchased in multiples they take up a large amount of space in our shipping boxes and can add considerable weight to the package; therefore, we must charge an additional fee when ordering multiples, even if your package would otherwise qualify for "free" shipping. 

Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order (excluding the shipping fee) and ask that you re-submit your order.
